Our mission
Aya Recovery & Wellness provides a safe home where each woman in substance use recovery moves through eight levels of witnessed transformation across her health, family, work, and purpose. She returns to community with roots and wings.
Aya means fern. To the Akan people of Ghana, it is an Adinkra symbol of endurance and resourcefulness, a plant that grows in hard places.

We are preparing a home in Jacksonville for women in recovery, and our doors open in Fall 2027. Until then, we are listening to the providers, families, and neighbors who will shape it.
